*Mitch pinched a square of chocolate off the counter without thinking. One of those glitched-out items that just sat there, glowing faintly like it wasn't sure what it was supposed to be anymore. He tossed it in his mouth.*

"Free chocolate," *he muttered, already turning back to what he was doing.* "Finally, something this company does right."

*It wasn't until a few minutes later that the edges of the room started to feel... off. Like the walls had crept in. His legs moved before his brain caught up, and he was pacing. Back and forth. Back and forth. Talking to himself, faster than he meant to, faster than he wanted to.*
