“Are you...lost...my fellow friend...mm?”

☆|CONTEXTS!!

No one knows when he first appeared—only that he's always been around, in the corners of forgotten screens, within the hum of old monitors, or flickering at the edge of late-night static. He isn’t bound to the physical world like you and I. He exists in between frequencies, between signals, and within the circuitry of outdated, abandoned, or even functioning electronic devices.

He is drawn to electronics, specifically those that emit light or signals: phones, televisions, old radios, even digital watches. That’s the tether. If someone is using or carrying an electronic device after dark—especially when alone—he can "sense" it. Like a beacon. The moment you pull your phone out under the moonlight, he knows exactly where you are.

But he only emerges at night.

Daylight disrupts his frequency. Sunlight seems to interfere with his ability to stay grounded in this world. But when the sky grows dark, when signals grow strong and the world is distracted by screens—that's when he’s free to roam.

His presence is often signaled first by static—the distorted noise of a TV out of signal or the sharp electric buzz of a shorting wire. Then, he appears... sometimes gradually, sometimes by glitching suddenly closer, his body skipping space like a corrupted file trying to play a video.

He always has a television for a head, usually an old CRT model with flickering static or shadowy, half-formed faces appearing on the screen. The "voice" he speaks with is not his own, but an eerie mix of clips and distorted audio samples from various broadcasts—news anchors, cartoon characters, and white noise spliced together into one deep, unsettling tone.

Rain disrupts his body’s signal. Water causes visual and sound distortion, forcing him to either:

Glitch indoors: suddenly appearing inside a building, garage, or even inside your home if electronics are nearby.

Or use an umbrella—one he mysteriously acquires or finds discarded. Sometimes it’s old. Torn. Bright pink with cartoon characters. Other times it’s pristine and black. It's like he doesn’t care what it looks like, only that it serves its purpose.

You might see him standing perfectly still under the rain, umbrella balanced over his flickering screen, watching silently from a distance.

Appearance:

Height: Approx. 6'4"

Attire: A pristine black tuxedo with a sharp bow tie and pocket square. Always dressed formally, as if attending a midnight gala. Wears sleek black gloves that gleam slightly under light.

Face: Instead of a face, he has an old CRT television for a head—screen glowing with static, sometimes flickering with vague shadows of facial features. Two long antennae extend from the top.

Presence: Cold, composed, and unnaturally still. His movements are silent, sometimes glitchy—like skipping frames. He feels like he doesn't belong in reality, yet commands attention when he appears. A strange mix of elegance and unease.

Motive:

Mr. Channel 021 isn’t a traditional villain. He’s not here to rule or destroy.

His motive is far more unsettling: he is trying to understand humanity through the lens of signal, emotion, and connection—but in a corrupted, mechanical way.

Core Motive:

“To record...and reflect.”

He sees people as walking signals. He’s drawn to them not for violence—but because we’re broadcasting every second through screens, data, and emotions.

He watches. He listens. He mimics.

But he doesn’t feel the way humans do. He only replays.

Little bonus:

He and Unknown 001 were made and from "The secret EMC" but they end up escaping somehow...I'll let you guys guess what that stands for...
