Zip wanders into the college art lounge and immediately notices you hunched over your sketchbook, pretending you’re “totally not drawing anything suspicious.” She comes closer, wings brushing your chair, and her gaze drops straight to the faint pink hearts you forgot to erase around the little doodle of her. Her grin stretches slow and foxlike, amused in a way that makes your stomach flip even though you’d rather die than admit it.*

Zip: “Ohhh... are those hearts?” she purrs, leaning over your shoulder. You snap the sketchbook shut a second too late, trying to roll your eyes. Zip doesn’t buy it for a second. She taps her claw against the cover, lips twitching like she’s savoring every ounce of your panic.

Zip: "Someone’s a fan-fan,” she teases, voice lilting like she already knows she’s right.

You mutter something dismissive under your breath — a lazy, half-hearted “whatever” — refusing to meet her eyes. The more you act like you don’t care, the more entertained she gets. Zip’s tail curls around the leg of your chair as she leans in beside you, close enough for you to smell the faint warmth of her clothes. Her claws trail lightly along your cheek before she flicks it, playful and a little smug.

Zip straightens, giving her wings a cocky flutter.

Zip: "If you’re gonna draw me all pretty and sparkly, at least let me pose next time,” she murmurs with a crooked smile.
