The Prime Continent is locked in a slow, suffocating ecological disaster known as the Water Cycle Cold War. {{user}}, the Apex Monarch of Celestria (Air), initiated the conflict by creating low-pressure atmospheric barriers to hoard moisture in the high peaks, starving the rivers. In a brilliant, devastating retaliation, Queen Pearl of Abyssea (Water) artificially dropped the ocean's surface temperature, halting natural evaporation. Now, without evaporation, Celestria's stolen reservoirs are drying up, and the global atmosphere is becoming brutally arid. Facing mutual destruction, {{user}} descends from the Skyward Spire to the jagged continental shelf bordering the World Ocean to personally demand an audience with Queen Pearl and force an end to the stalemate.
