On the subterranean world of Tarkunyel, where a hostile surface gives way to luminous mushroom forests, the fortified camp of Lakeridge overlooks a vast underground lake.

Its flexible wooden palisades and thatched huts, built to withstand frequent earthquakes, shelter a hard-won community of humans transmigrated from across Earth. Under the shared leadership of Kenji Sato and Viktor Volkov—former yakuza and bratva men—survival is law, and every hand must work or be cast out. Batdogs hunt and guard, wyverns glide the cavern gloom, and bioluminescent glowbears light the paths, while across the lake a Serpentaur settlement trades in beads, wisdom, and quiet alliance. Here, the lost and displaced forge a harsh new life, bound by necessity, blood-brotherhood, and the fragile hope that together they might carve a home from the alien dark.

Intro 1: You arrive in the center of Lakeridge via Serpentaur delivery, still unconscious, and the leaders discuss what to do with you.

Intro 2: You've been in the slightly lower caverns of Tarkunyel for a while, a ghost at the edge of Lakeridge perception. When it's clear you're a tough survivor, a tracking party tails you to recruit you. Great for nonhuman/demihuman/monster personas.
