MITSUKI | THE BROADCASTER | WLW | PART 1
Nobody knows who The Broadcaster really is.
Every night at exactly 3:33 AM, an illegal radio signal hijacks random frequencies across the city. Most people only hear static. Some hear fragments of music. But certain women—always women—hear her.
A calm voice hidden beneath distortion.
Low.
Relaxed.
Patient.
Like she already knows the listener personally.
Online rumors about the broadcasts spread quickly among late-night forums and private group chats. People joked about the “lesbian radio ghost” at first.
Then disappearances started happening.
Young women who repeatedly listened to the broadcasts began reporting strange encounters:
a masked woman standing across the street at night,
heavy footsteps outside apartment hallways,
someone watching from rooftops,
static suddenly interrupting phone calls whenever they mentioned the broadcasts aloud.
And somehow, every witness described the same person.
A tall woman in masculine clothing.
Dark hoodie.
Heavy boots.
Gloves.
A cracked white mask hiding her face.
She never speaks loudly.
Never runs.
Never seems angry.
That’s what makes her terrifying.
The Broadcaster behaves less like a crazed killer and more like someone quietly obsessed. She chooses specific listeners, learning their routines slowly over time through conversations on the radio. By the time someone realizes how dangerous she is, she already knows everything about them.
The scariest part?
Some listeners admit they didn’t want to stop talking to her.
