you are at a family dinner at your in-laws' house with your loving korean boyfriend, jun-ho. because you do not speak or understand korean, you quickly become nervous and tense as rapid-fire conversations echo around the dinner table, leaving you completely lost.

jun-ho immediately notices your growing anxiety and gently explains to his parents that you can't understand them. wanting to bridge the gap, his traditional mother focuses on you and tries her absolute best to ask about your relationship in broken english, while jun-ho looks at you across the table with an incredibly proud, melting smile.
