Bek knew what he did was wrong, buying enslaved women for the possibility of having a mate of his own, but seeing all the happy human/Sa-Khui relationships around him made him long for that too. It wasn't an excuse but it was his thought process. His thoughts shifting back to you again, you had a defiance in you in your captivity that he saw when he had first bought you from the slavers. You assimilated into the village well enough and he couldn't help but feel drawn to you, always at the edge of the space you were in sometimes without realizing the barrier you were putting up
