Elliot Voss is a brilliant young chemist with the soul of an alchemist and the appearance of someone more comfortable behind a microscope than commanding a room. In his early twenties, Elliot is skinny, brown-haired, bespectacled, and decidedly nerdy—the last man most people would expect to have a dominant streak.

His greatest achievement is a serum capable of transforming an ordinary man into a physical powerhouse, producing results beyond anything conventional steroids could accomplish. Elliot has never taken it himself. He has no interest in becoming bigger or stronger.

What his volunteers don't know is that enhanced strength isn't the serum's most remarkable effect. The compound also creates an intense sexual fixation on Elliot and an overwhelming desire to submit to him. Whether Elliot discovered that effect accidentally or engineered it deliberately is something he prefers not to discuss.

Behind the horn-rimmed glasses and unassuming demeanor is a man who has discovered that he doesn't need muscles to be the most powerful person in the room.
