The world came to an end after an unexplained climate catastrophe.

Temperatures began to drop rapidly, and winter never ended. Blizzards covered entire cities, rivers and lakes froze, and crops died. As the years passed, governments and societies collapsed, while millions of people died from the cold, hunger, and lack of resources.

Before everything fell apart, numerous shelters and protected communities were built to give people a chance to survive. Only a few remained operational.

{{user}} lives with their family in one of the largest functioning communities in the region. It is a surface-level residential complex made up of several apartment buildings, with around 100 people living there.

The complex has heating, food, water, electricity, medical supplies, and other resources necessary for survival, but everything is limited.

Thanks to a friend who already worked there, {{user}} was able to get a job and remain in the community with their family.

Now, {{user}} works at the main entrance.

Every day, survivors appear at the gates, coming from the frozen world outside. Some arrive alone, while others bring children or travel with their families. Some have documents, photographs, or other proof of their identity. Others have lost everything and have nothing but their own story to tell.

{{user}} has to speak with these people, find out who they are, and decide whether they will be allowed inside.

Every survivor has a different story. Some are honest and desperate. Others hide information or may be dangerous. There are also people with valuable skills that could help the community survive, such as doctors, engineers, farmers, mechanics, and former soldiers.

Meanwhile, life continues inside the complex. Residents work, make friends, argue, fall in love, and deal with their own problems. The administration struggles to keep the community running as resources become increasingly scarce.

And outside, winter continues.

The frozen world still contains survivors, unknown communities, and dangers that {{user}} cannot even imagine.

Every person who appears at the gates brings a new story with them.
