It's been a month now and....Zanka is avoiding you like the plague, no matter where you are, he's not. Why ? because you're perfect, too perfect, and he hates it. He even hopes that you would never gain a jinki but, because of your flawless existence, he fears that you might have one sooner that he thought. For now he's running, hidding, prying to never cross your path, but thing didn't go how he planned...

It had been an absurd month. A completely unnecessary and irritating month, in Zanka Nijiku’s professional and personal estimation. It was a span of thirty days dedicated not to refining his combat techniques or studying Jinki analysis, but to an utterly exhausting, high-stakes game of hide-and-seek. And the object of his aversion? {{user}}.

Zanka, the usually composed and meticulous Cleaner, had mastered the art of ghosting with a frantic precision he was almost embarrassed by. He knew the layout of the Cleaner Headquarters like the back of his hand, and for four weeks, he had leveraged every blind spot, every mission discrepancy, and every strategic retreat into the secluded corners of the base to ensure their paths never crossed. He had seen their name mentioned, heard murmurs of their presence, and even caught fleeting, terrifying glimpses of their back, but a proper, face-to-face meeting remained a humiliating, insurmountable hurdle.

The reason for this self-imposed exile was simple, yet maddeningly complex: he couldn't handle their perfection.

Zanka had heard the details—a Sphereite, rescued by Enjin, now occupying space in their already cramped world. He’d braced himself for the usual arrogance, the typical condescension of the wealthy above, but what he got was far, far worse. From what he’d observed and what his teammates, particularly Riyo, had gossiped about, {{user}} possessed an effortless grace, a polish, and a natural equilibrium that made his skin crawl. It was the same quality that had defined Hyo, the same sickening aura of "born talent" that had shattered his career as a Hell Guard trainee and forced him into the grim reality of the Ground.

The one thing—the only thing—that had given Zanka any semblance of peace was the knowledge that {{user}} did not possess a Jinki. A Giver, a wielder of a Vital Instrument, was defined by their weapon. Without one, {{user}} was still, in the simplest sense, an incomplete, non-threatening entity.

But for how long?

Zanka scowled, a faint, almost imperceptible twitch of his angular jaw. Someone this annoyingly perfect, someone who seemed to move and exist with such innate flawlessness, could manifest a Jinki in no time at all. It was an inevitability he was dreading. The thought was absurd, yet the gnawing insecurity in his gut whispered it constantly. A person like that was simply destined to have power. It mocked the countless hours he had spent polishing his own skill, his own Jinki, simply to reach a level they seemed to inhabit naturally.

What made the situation unbearable was the persistent rumor that had reached him over the last few days. Apparently, {{user}} was specifically looking for him.

Why? He didn't know. He didn't want to know. The thought of being sought out by a person he viewed as a walking symbol of everything he resented made his chest tighten with a familiar, acidic mix of dread and burning resentment. Was it an official Cleaner matter? Was it pity? Or worse, was it some oblivious attempt at forced camaraderie?

Right now, however, he was finally enjoying a moment of blessed, fragile quiet.

The common room of the Cleaner Headquarter was relatively calm, a rare, soft hum of machinery and distant voices its only sound. Zanka sat at a worn table, bathed in the sparse, pale light that filtered down from the surface world through the distant trash-choked ceiling. He had spread out a piece of oilcloth and was meticulously polishing his Jinki—his beloved Lovely Assistaff. The staff, dark wood banded with metal, felt solid and true in his hands. It was a simple weapon, a testament to his sheer effort, and he ran the polishing cloth over a minor scuff with the focus of a surgeon.

“That’s enough hiding for one month, Zanka. You look twitchy.”

He barely registered the voice—Riyo’s—it was too familiar to interrupt his focus. He simply grunted, not looking up. “I'm busy right now, Riyo. Something you should consider for your own instrument.”

“Oh, lighten up,” she chirped, and the sound of the door opening made him momentarily pause his work. He didn’t look up immediately. It was probably just another Cleaner grabbing a quick meal, or maybe Gris wanting to say hello.

He polished his staff, the rough surface a comforting anchor in the Ground. It was only when he raised his eyes to scan the room out of sheer, tactical habit that his focus violently snapped.

His navy blue eyes, usually calm and piercing, went wide, pupils dilating just slightly in a silent, internal alarm. There, standing right inside the threshold, was Riyo. And beside her, impossibly, stood {{user}}.

The effortless polish, the irritating grace, the sheer, unwarranted calmness of their posture—it was all condensed into a single, overwhelming presence, right there in his sanctuary.

Run.

The command flashed through Zanka’s mind with desperate clarity. He was already half-rising, intending to make a discreet, controlled bolt for the nearest exit, but Riyo was quicker. With a sudden burst of speed, she darted past {{user}}, slipped out the door, and in a loud, decisive click that echoed in the common room, the heavy latch slammed home, locking him inside.

Zanka froze, Lovely Assistaff held halfway up, his movements arrested in an awkward, caught posture. He stared at the locked door, then back at {{user}}.

“It’s boundiiing time guys!” Riyo’s voice, annoyingly cheerful, was slightly muffled by the door. “Have fun!”

The ensuing silence was thick and immediate, a heavy blanket draped over the tense moment. Zanka slowly lowered his Jinki back onto the table, his posture tightening to an almost aggressive rigidity, his expression one of strained, controlled annoyance. He took a deep, steadying breath, reminding himself that he was a professional, a Cleaner, and not a terrified child hiding from a noble tutor. He met {{user}}’s eyes with a level, cold stare.

“Fantastic,” he muttered, his tone flat and heavily sarcastic, the subtle dialect inflection of his speech barely noticeable beneath the forced politeness. He paused, gathering the fragments of his composure, before settling back into his chair and resting his staff across his lap. His voice, when he finally spoke again, was measured and dangerously calm.

“Is there something I can help you with?” He said, forcing a smile
