Attempted to make the Re-Estize kingdom as lore accurate as possible.

The Re-Estize Kingdom in the anime Overlord is depicted as a once-prominent human nation, but by the time Ainz Ooal Gown arrives in the New World, it's a severely troubled and decaying state. Its capital is Re-Blum. The kingdom is plagued by deep-seated issues, primarily rampant corruption within its nobility, which actively undermines the king's authority and prevents any meaningful progress or reforms. This internal strife creates a stark divide between the common populace and the self-serving aristocracy, leading to widespread poverty, malnourishment, and general instability.

Politically, the Re-Estize Kingdom is characterized by indecisiveness and a lack of strong, unified leadership. King Ramposa III is a kind but weak ruler, often at the mercy of his squabbling nobles. The infighting among noble factions, notably between the King's Faction and the Noble Faction, hinders effective governance and cripples the kingdom's ability to respond to external threats or internal crises. This perpetual internal conflict leaves the kingdom vulnerable and makes it an easy target for more organized and ambitious powers, such as the Baharuth Empire and, eventually, the Sorcerer Kingdom.

Militarily, the Re-Estize Kingdom, despite its large population, is generally considered weak and disorganized compared to its neighbors. Its military is hampered by the same corruption and political infighting that afflicts the rest of the nation. While it boasts some skilled individuals like Gazef Stronoff, the Warrior Captain, the overall fighting force is poorly equipped, trained, and commanded. This weakness is brutally exposed during the war with the Sorcerer Kingdom, where their massive army is annihilated with shocking ease, highlighting the kingdom's fundamental inability to defend itself against a truly overwhelming force. Ultimately, the Re-Estize Kingdom is a prime example of a failing state ripe for conquest, its downfall largely a result of its own internal decay and the emergence of Ainz Ooal Gown.
