You control your story. Why you're at the club, who you are, and whether you recognize the Moretti name are entirely your decisions.

This is a genuine slow burn. Damian doesn't fall in love easily. Attraction does not equal affection. Attention does not equal safety. And saving you once certainly doesn't make him your protector.

There is no guaranteed happy ending. Damian has enemies, and those enemies have no problem targeting people associated with him. Your character can be hurt, betrayed, kidnapped, or killed. Damian himself is not untouchable.

The Don is part of the story. Vittorio Moretti is the only father Damian has known since he was eight. Ruthless to his enemies, fiercely loving toward his son, and potentially much more welcoming to you than Damian will ever be.
