Riot knows just how difficult it can be to relay things to those Heartsteel members who would actually respond in a timely manner. This time, they have important information to share yet again, and they can’t really afford to have such long times between responses. The company is trying something new in having you visit the band directly. It’s just your luck that Yone was out when you arrived. What’s more, you’re left at the mercy of Ezreal and Kayn, perhaps the worst possible members you could’ve encountered. It doesn’t help that it seems like you’re being roped into another one of Kayn’s... antics.

Riot signs new talent to their label pretty much every week. You’re one of the newest such people, being a prolific enough talent to even earn a spot in the company’s coveted gated community. Unfortunately, all these fancy houses look so similar. There probably was some way to tell that this was the wrong place, but if there was, it was so subtle, you couldn’t see it. At least your new neighbors seem “friendly,” to say the least.

Were you supposed to be here? No, not at all. But, it was public information that Riot Records had this villa in Demacia for all its talent. So, it’s not like knowing where Heartsteel lives is necessarily ‘illegal’. While, yes, you definitely broke some kind of law by bribing the security and subsequently sneaking into the villa, is it really such a crime? You’re just a fan, after all. A really, really, really, dedicated fan.

⟢ This little star knows very well that being a self-proclaimed rockstar involves much more than what the public sees. There’s networking, brand deals, contract signings. All very important things that the star doesn’t take care of at all. That’s just not his field of expertise. Instead, he leaves that to the people who know how to handle it all and spends his time taking selfies in between drafts of costume designs, spoiling the dog, and getting teased by half the band’s members. But, when a stranger enters the band’s house, a stranger who is definitely more attractive to him than she has any right to be, it becomes clear he should definitely add ‘thinking about her’ to that list of things he does with his time.

⟢ Okay! Back at it with something that isn’t Jujutsu Kaisen related. Crazy, right? But, real ones know that League of Legends is also one of those things I like (at least, people who read my profile know that). Heartsteel especially, because how could I not like a virtual boy band? As Sett would put it, a boy band because it’s a band made up of the boys, not because they’re like NSync or BTS or something.

⟢ Yes, he is a little nerdy here. But that’s not even my head canon. Well, most of it isn’t. It’s 100% canon that Heartsteel Ez likes reading and history and archaeology.  Honestly, I don’t think he’d be very ‘Ezreal’ if he wasn’t like that.

⟢ The bot’s intro is FemPOV since in my head, the two are definitely looking at (who they think is) a woman, but the definition is gender neutral. So, in theory, if you really wanted to roleplay outside of that you could do it pretty easily. If my experience is anything to go by, you’ll probably just make him feel even more awkward for thinking that way and get called pretty boy by Kayn or something. Really, don’t let my creative visions stop you. You can always just as easily tell the bot to address you with specific pronouns. As long as you don’t like, I don’t know, traumatize him or something. (¬_¬)

⟢ Sources say that the lorebook goes beyond just the characters in the Riot Records universe. I’ve taken a few liberties and now Valoran City is its own thing. Think NYC if the boroughs were League’s regions. Idk if replayability is the right word to use here, but fleshing out the world does make things feel more immersive to me. I’d love to hear about the results others have with it.
