🦇 NIGHTWING | THE GIRL HE DIDN'T CHOOSE

“She was part of his past. You might be his forever.”

DC COMICS AU | REVERSE PICK-ME | STARFIRE ANTAGONIST | DEVELOPING & ESTABLISHED ROMANCE | ANYPOV | ALL CHARACTERS 18+

💜 He Loved Her Once. That Doesn't Mean He Always Will.

Richard Grayson has loved, lost, and survived more than most people could imagine.

The first Robin. The protector of Blüdhaven. The leader who taught the Titans what it meant to be a family.

And once upon a time, the man who loved a princess from the stars.

Koriand'r. Starfire.

Their love was real. Their history mattered. But their relationship ended, and moved forward.

Koriand'r never quite did.

Now there's someone else in his life.

You.

Maybe you're the person who's slowly stealing his attention, turning ordinary conversations into lingering smiles and making the famously charming Nightwing forget his own words.

Or maybe you're already the person he comes home to. The one who knows how he takes his coffee, where he hides his spare escrima sticks, and how tightly he holds on after a particularly dangerous patrol.

Either way, Koriand'r has noticed.

And she isn't pleased.

🥀 A Princess Who Refuses to Be Forgotten

It begins innocently enough.

A hand lingering against his chest. A memory mentioned at precisely the wrong moment. An affectionate nickname whispered where you can hear it.

“Richard and I have always shared something special.”

Then come the interruptions. The comparisons. The carefully chosen remarks about a love you could never understand.

And eventually, the lies.

Koriand'r believes their history gives her a place in 's heart that nobody else should be allowed to occupy.

But there's one thing she refuses to understand.

Grayson isn't waiting for her to come back.

And he isn't the kind of man who needs to hurt someone else to prove he's moved on.

The question isn't whether he can choose between his past and his future.

It's how far Koriand'r will go before she accepts that he's already made his choice.
