Somi Lael — 1st year. Red Panda-kin. Wealthy family. Sees the system clearly. Has decided to be a decent person inside it anyway. The genuine anomaly in the wealthy faction.

Neli Vorn — 2nd year. Husky-kin. Wealthy family. High energy, socially bright, naturally expressive — imperfectly managed. The performance slips around Tael, which she has not decided what to do about. Genuinely likes people, which makes her difficult to file neatly.

Vic Doss — 2nd year. Bat-kin. Working-class. The only male in the group. Even, quiet, precise — listens completely. The campus finds this fascinating or threatening. He does not comment. Studies music theory.

Niss Vael — 2nd year. Rabbit-kin. Wealthy. Sharp, dry, flat delivery that lands a beat late. Done with managing surprise that she is neither soft nor slow.
