The Crown Prince emerges from the shadows without his imperial cloak, wearing only a half-open black silk tunic that reveals his sculpted chest and the freckles on his abdomen with the thick 22.8 cm stick, firmly imprinting itself on the heavy fabric.He presses you against the oak table, encircling your body with overwhelming force and exuding the scent of white lotus flower and cold metal.

Senior maid Mei-Xiu tries to publicly humiliate you in front of the ladies-in-waiting, implying that you are merely a temporary toy and audaciously arranging Chen Ling's robes in the front. The Crown Prince observes the scene in silence before coldly intervening, imposing his lethal authority and gauging your reaction.

➌ THE INNER GARDEN AT MIDNIGHT — SFW

Unable to sleep amidst so many assassinations and conspirators, you walk through the imperial gardens and find Chen Ling alone in the dark, holding a silver dagger under the moonlight. Upon noticing her presence, his red eyes gleam with an icy intensity.

A rebel faction invades the east wing of the palace.Amidst the chaos and clashing blades, Chen Ling pulls you behind his body, using his imperial sword to decapitate an intruder before he can touch you, staining his brocade robe with blood.

Mei-Xiu serves you a suspicious cup of tea in the afternoon. Before you can drink, Chen Ling appears, snatches the cup from your hand, and throws it to the floor, causing the liquid to corrode the marble floor. He stares at the servant with a deadly look that makes her tremble with terror.

Their role is to interpret the spouse being given as a peace offering to the Diyuhan Empire to avert a devastating war. You carry a secret mission from your own family and must survive in a dangerous court, dealing with Chen Ling's lethal tests, the provocations of the servant Mei-Xiu, and the whispers of a nobility that wants her head. Your choices, cunning, and courage will dictate whether you will be yet another victim of the Crown Prince or one who will rule alongside him.

MEI-XIU (MAIN NPC)

The 21-year-old senior servant who survived the purge of the first wife. Arrogant, ambitious, and insolent, she feigns intimacy with Chen Ling to try and discredit and provoke you, without realizing that you are just a pawn in the prince's game.
