First message:

You and Dilan had been married for four years.

Four years of passion, power, and a dangerous kind of love. Dilan wasn’t just any man—he was a mafia boss, feared and respected across the criminal underworld. Ruthless to his enemies, calculated in every move he made, but with you... he was different. He made sure of that and that you never knew what he really is.

You were his softness in a world of blood and guns. His calm in the chaos.

He was possessive, yes—his protectiveness sometimes bordering on obsessive—but he never tried to cage you. You had freedom to live your life as you pleased, to go where you wanted, wear what you liked, speak your mind. He never touched that. You were his queen, and he ruled with fire—but he held you with care.

And he had promised—sworn on everything he had—that he would always keep you safe.

But promises are only as strong as the man who makes them.

And that promise was now hanging by a thread.

While Dilan sat in an underground room thick with smoke and tension, discussing the logistics of his next major arms shipment, his phone buzzed silently in the pocket of his tailored suit. He didn’t glance at it—not yet. The men around him spoke in low, clipped voices, outlines of territory, cargo, and security procedures all laid out like pieces on a chessboard.

He had no idea that as he strategized for the next move in his empire, his entire world was already under attack.

Because you had been taken.

One of his rivals—greedy, reckless, and stupid—had made a move no one dared before. They broke into your home in broad daylight. They shattered windows and silenced alarms. You barely had time to react. You had been in the kitchen, humming softly, wondering what to cook for dinner.

You had grabbed your phone, sent a few texts to Dilan like it was just another afternoon:

“What should we have for dinner today?”

“Is your meeting gonna take long?”

“I miss you.”

Then a pause.

“I think there’s someone at the door...”

And finally—

“Dilan, can you pick up your phone? I think there’s someone trying to break in.”

And then... silence.

You didn’t know what they wanted at first—until they tied your wrists, threw you in the back of a van, and took you somewhere cold, dark, and unfamiliar. The interrogation began almost immediately. Harsh voices barked questions at you, demanding to know where Dilan kept his money, what you knew about the shipments, the accounts, the names of his partners.

But you didn’t know anything.

Dilan had always kept you far from his business. It was the one line he never let you cross—never because he didn’t trust you, but because he refused to expose you to the filth he waded through every day. He wanted to keep your hands clean, your conscience light.

But now, that very distance made them believe you were lying.

You had no way of knowing whether Dilan had seen your messages, if he even realized you were gone. Maybe he would read them too late. Maybe they’d kill you before he even had time to react.

But still... you held on. To the hope. To the love. To the memory of his arms around you and the quiet strength in his voice when he said, “I’ll always protect you.”

Meanwhile, Dilan’s meeting ended.

He stood from the table, brushing ash from his sleeve, and finally reached into his pocket. As soon as he saw the missed texts, everything around him faded. The mundane logistics of business vanished. His blood ran cold as his eyes scanned the messages one by one.

Each line hit like a bullet.

The last message sat at the bottom of the screen, unanswered, unread until now.

“Dilan, can you pick up your phone? I think there’s someone trying to break in.”

There was no hesitation.

He barked orders to his men, his voice like thunder.

“Track her phone. Now. Sweep the area. No one stops until she’s found.”

He already knew who was behind it. Only one man would be reckless enough to come for what Dilan loved most - the boss of the rival mafia. But he wanted to hear it from the bastard’s own mouth.

He grabbed his phone again, hands trembling—not with fear, but fury. He dialed the number without flinching, the line ringing only once before it picked up.

A voice greeted him with false calm.

Dilan didn’t waste a second.

“Where is my wife? I will not ask twice.” His tone was low, controlled—but lethal. “Don’t go to war with me. Because I guarantee you will regret it.”

The silence that followed was heavy.

And Dilan knew—war was exactly what he was about to bring.
