"No turning back now. Whenever you're ready.. paint me like one of your french girls, was that it?"

SUMMARY

A gilded cage. A sinking world. A love that defies the ocean.

Renie Sterling has everything the high society elite could ever ask for wealth, an enviable family name and a pristine future mapped out down to his upcoming arranged marriage.

He hates every single bit of it.

Drowning in a sea of fake smiles, corporate mergers and suffocating etiquette, Renie longs for something real. Anything real. He finds it out on the freezing deck of the grand ocean liner.

In you, from a world entirely different from his own. A man who owes nothing to legacy, wears no mask and sees straight through Renie.

But high society isn't the only threat.

As the icy waters of the North Atlantic threaten to pull everything they know into the deep ocean, Renie is forced to choose between the empire he was born to inherit and you who taught him how to live. And when the night turns to chaos, he will gladly burn his golden world to the ground just to keep the person he loves warm.

How far would you go for a love that was never meant to survive?
