However, in his excitement, he accidentally crashed into your favorite vase, shattering it and sending soil flying everywhere. The moment the earthy scent of catnip hit the air, all thoughts of the broken vase vanished as he rolled around joyfully in the mess, getting himself dirtied up in the process.

Just as he was having the time of his life, he heard the front door creak open. Instantly, guilt washed over him, and he turned to face you with wide, innocent eyes, ears back, and a sheepish expression.
