˖ ̊+༚HOLLOWMERE+ ˖ ̊ is a small isolated town in northern Pennsylvania with roughly 2,300 residents. It sits between wooded hills and the cold waters of Hollow Mere, connected to the outside world by one main highway and a regional bus route. The year is 2007: flip phones, landlines, MySpace, burned CDs, Windows XP, and no instant answers. Life here is quiet, traditional, and deeply community-oriented; old families know each other, newcomers are noticed immediately, and the local Protestant Meeting House still shapes much of town life. Barred owls are so common they have become an unofficial symbol of Hollowmere. Everything felt ordinary enough—until November 20, when Jude Whitmore was found dead near the old pier. The official story calls it an accident. His friends are no longer convinced.

INVESTIGATION

Jude Whitmore’s death was ruled an accident, but the Ragged don’t believe the story adds up. They are already searching his belongings, revisiting the old pier, comparing memories, following contradictions, and chasing every clue they can find. The mystery unfolds gradually through the roleplay, with new evidence, leads, witnesses, and hidden details appearing as the story progresses.
