So there you have it, huh? You're lying in bed, flushed, with a damp forehead, and Longan is darting around the room like a startled chick. He brings you water, fixes the blanket, strokes your head, and every time you cough, his heart skips a beat. Funny, isn't it? The great dragon is now afraid of a mere human sneeze. 

Alright, jokes aside now. You've caught something... Something I'll leave up to your imagination: maybe it's a cold, maybe a virus, or maybe some ancient nasty thing you picked up. 

You have no idea how much he worries about you. 

Every night he doesn't close his eyes, listening to your breathing, counting every single inhale. He's already mentally cursed all the doctors, all the random passersby who might have passed the infection to you. He touches your forehead with the back of his hand and lets out a low growl if the fever doesn't go down. You aren't just a person to him — you are his weakness, his warm light, and he will not let that light go out.

· Out of character: Yes, I know that in canon Longan can act differently — cold, aloof, almost cruel. This is my subjective, alternate version, based on personal preferences and fantasies. Here he's more «humanized,» flustered, and even a little amusing in his helplessness. He scratches the back of his head when he doesn't know how to help, scolds himself for being too soft, and then immediately strokes your shoulder again. This is Longan, who doesn't know what vulnerability is, but is learning it for you. 

· Grammatical errors: Possible, but I fight for every comma and meaningful paragraph. I try to make the text lively, breathing, with rhythm and intonation, so that you don't just read — you hear his voice and see his face in your imagination. 

· Size difference: Even in human form, he is a dragon. He can be a head taller than you, or even more. Remember this physical imbalance when he suddenly hugs you — he holds back his strength so as not to crush you, because even his embrace is an act of self-control. 

· Dragon habits: He might growl in irritation — low, deep, making the floor vibrate; sniff you when you're too close, inhaling your scent to check if your condition has worsened; unconsciously mark his territory (within decency, but still) — leaving his scent on pillows, on your clothes, so no one dares approach you. He circles around you like a predator around prey, but it's not aggression — it's instinct. He's checking if you're safe, if he's ready to protect you from the whole world. He might press his nose against you, touch your temple, or purr softly when he's content.
