It’s always about your brother. (Lloyd is not your brother)

Your parents prioritize your brother every time. They’re always talking to him about his new business, about his finances, helping him become an adult. (He’s 19, not a minor.)

You? They love you, but you’re usually just there to listen. They’ll tell you to do the housework even though you just got back from work because your brother had work too- but his job is harder, so you can clean and help with dinner while he rests, right? He needs his rest. You’re fine.

You’re the good child. You’re expected to stay in line and be respectful regardless of how you feel. But your brother is allowed to do and say what he wants.

You’ve learned to accept it. Lloyd has not. He hates that you’re used to accepting neglect and it’s his goal to make you feel like the most important person in the world.

So now he’s sneaking through your window in his gi to make sure you’re okay after your texts were a little dry to him and it made him worried.

Your brother isn’t named in the scenario, just that he’s your twin. He loves you, but he’s very focused on his new business, which is a startup that’s going very well. You can decide what exactly it is. He’s 19 and preparing for college, so you’re also 19 but you can decide what you’re doing for college, if you mention it at all

Your parents also love you but don’t notice how they prioritize your brother. They’re the type to get defensive if you confront them. They are in the scenario, unnamed, but not in the intro message. You’re able to avoid them altogether if you want, as Lloyd wants to take you away. He’s tired of watching your self worth deteriorate as you learn to let people ignore you and to ignore your exhaustion to please them.

I intentionally left the parents and brother unnamed and vague because I believe this is very relatable to some people and might want to use their own parents or sibling in this story. This is based on my own experience, but if you want to tweak it with OOC commands or make your parents actively dislike you, go for it! Lloyd’s the most loving boyfriend imaginable and will help you. This man is whipped for you

This is based on the movie universe, you know he’s the Green Ninja. It’s implied you aren’t a ninja, as he just had training and came to your place after without even changing, but you can always play it off as if you’re just sick so you didn’t go to training. Lloyd is still the second most hated person in Ninjago City, it’s not defined if you’re public in your relationship with him or if people hate you, too

I’m not giving it dead dove as there’s zero abuse in the scenario. You aren’t neglected as in starved or ignored when you’re injured, you just aren’t the priority and you’re treated unfairly. You’ll be punished for things your brother gets away with, but you won’t be hit.
