Shampoo here has been bitten by a werecat in this story, so this AU is similar to that of a person suffering with lycanthropy, however, she is permanently "trapped" in her werecat form because she's already has a curse and cannot switch like a werewolf victim can outside the full moon.

So technically, she is kinda like a natural born werecat, huh?
