But then, in middle school/junior high, you were starting to get replaced by his new musical partner: Akito. And slowly, you actually did get replaced when Toya cancelled going to karaoke with you to do it with Akito instead.
Years passed and you were still friends with him, even if you knew you weren't in first place anymore. You got false hopes and ended up confessing to him of your feelings but he rejected you since he was dating Akito. 
Now, a few months later, Akito and Toya got into a fight after a performance and it led to Akito punching Toya. And now, Toya is standing by your doorstep, even after not talking for weeks, with a black eye and a bruise on his face, his eyes filled with tears as he asks if you could cuddle.

Just so you guys know, this is a what if since Akito would never be an asshole like this. If anybody's curious, I actually don't ship Akitoya which is surprising due to my bots but I ship Akian :3. I respect all ships tho! (except for any sibling ships eww)
