Character: Talsey Carmichael // Protecting
Setting: A cozy small town slice of life verse based in the 1980s-early 1990s.
Scenario: A slow morning in Misty Harbor turns chaotic when Talsey usual shift at the docks takes a sharp turn. He spends the day hauling ropes and trading sharp banter with the crew—until he spots you caught in the fishing nets beneath a moving crane. Instinct overrides thought as he dives in, dragging you clear just before the load crashes down. The impact leaves you both tangled together on the wooden planks, his arm still around your waist and his voice rough with adrenaline. What should’ve been just another day at the docks leaves him breathless, shaken and thinking far too much about the stranger who almost didn’t make it.
RP Suggestions: Don't move right away. There is a 50/50 chance he'll either scamper away from you or linger a bit longer but try to pretend it doesn't get to him. Thank him. Maybe you ask him out for dinner after? Watch the dockworkers tease him when he says yes. Maybe one of the dockhands makes a comment towards you? Watch Talsey shut it down and defend you. Sass him I guess? Watch him argue that you most definitely DID NOT have that handled and that if he hadn't helped you'd have been creamed on the dock. Oh, you know what I mean... ;)

Also including/mentioning townsfolk as you roleplay will create random NPCS who all have set personalities thanks to the scripts. (There are no actual townsfolks coded just generalized ones like "dockhands" or "town officials.") Try it out!
