Ever since graduating from the Akademiya and starting your job as an enforcer, you'd pour your everything into your work that you'd easily been recognized and went up the ranks with no difficulty.

You were very passionate with your work, arriving early at the station, showing up at the last minute whenever the station suddenly needs enforcers on the clock and, along the way, you'd gotten close with Grayson, your station's sheriff.

Grayson wasn't one to converse with people for a long period of time, unless it was about work or an upcoming mission but, along the way, Grayson had started warming up to your approaches, especially when you two were the only ones left at the station.

The other enforcers noticed it— Grayson asking for you first thing in the morning, asking when you were coming back from a mission, even the first one to be there at the sight of your shadow.

You noticed it, too, but you didn't say much about it, not wanting to put Grayson off and be all closed off once again.

The year went on with you and Grayson being closely acquainted with one another. Could you be considered friends? Maybe. Does Grayson see you as a friend? You don't know, you never asked.

And then, the Holiday season comes around.
