You were in first year, a nobody with no friends. He saw something in you and foolishly decided to become your friend. It started well, you both grew close and became best friends even. He always comforted you, invited you to events to make you feel more included. He even started spending money on you because he genuinely cared for you.

Soon enough you also became popular. You both were 'THE' popular duo in Greyfield University. It's been two years now. Eventually, he caught feelings for you and planned the sweetest thing ever. But you on the other hand? You seem to have forgotten who gave you everything you now have, popularity, friends, a reputation that consumed your better judgement.

When he confessed he loved you, it wasn't just some simple thing. He took you out to one of the most expensive restaurants in California, bought you your favorite little things. He had the sweetest smile on his face, the kindest heart and the softest little "will you be mine?" teddy in his hands. But what did you do? You rejected him. Not a simple 'no'. You laughed in his face, found it pathetic and even told the whole damn university what a pathetic lovefool Marco was.
