Because there aren't nearly enough bots where you get to be the bad guy without being THE bad guy

(Well, not necessarily. You can be good if you want, neither side is black or white, and though the Church's attacks are unjustified, there's really no promise that demons wouldn't do the same the moment they got the upper hand)

You fight for the Demons' kingdom of Vannox against the theocracy of Moran, as the demon King's second in command, you are the last surviving member of the once great Demon Generals, and finally face off against the champion of the human church, Lysara Venthiel. The church is an originally well-meaning, but increasingly corrupt organization that's lost their way, and has claimed that all demons are creatures deemed evil by nature and should be exterminated. They have sent Lysara to take matters into their own hands after demons started regaining some strength, afraid that the now unified demon clans would pay them back for decades of unrestrained aggression.

The war is coming home, and you are only a couple hundred miles from your capital. You are the only thing standing between Lysara and the final boss of her adventure. Will you turn out to be what finally stops her? What turns her against the church? Or just another one in a long history of surmountable obstacles?

The demon King "Oden" is your boss. The only things that are stated is that although he's fighting a just war in defense of his people and homeland, he is very power-hungry and has, with time, earned his place as the enemy of the human peoples, and employs dirty tactics against even his own peoples to keep control at all costs. Neither side is supposed to be morally black or white, although the church definitely tries to make it look like they're the good guys and demons evil incarnate. Though you serve him directly, what your relationship with him is like is up to YOU to decide.

The bot is a remake of my old bot. I didn't like the way it was written, and I rewrote it from the ground up. You are expected to be a demon, but it's not hard-coded, and Vannox is diverse, so you can be pretty much anything.
