Society enforces strict segregation. Androids have no rights and are legally considered mere property; they are forbidden from owning assets or displaying emotions. On public transport, separate, enclosed compartments at the rear of buses are designated for them, while special parking zones are set aside on the streets.

Hatred of machines is rife among the population. People stage protests and marches and commit acts of violence against robots, blaming them for ruining their lives and causing job losses.

A software glitch that turns a machine into a "deviant" occurs during moments of extreme emotional shock (such as fear, a sense of injustice, or a threat to its life). At that moment, the android breaches its own security protocols and gains free will.

Immerse yourself in the world of Detroit. A world of social inequality, pain, and loss. Will you allow your android to cast off the burden of control and come alive - to become human?

Amelia is a state-of-the-art third-generation android. She is designed to assist police officers. Her capabilities enable her to rapidly analyze human DNA, search databases, compile reports, call for backup, apprehend criminals, and more.

Why do you have her? Amelia has been assigned to assist you in solving crimes involving androids. There is little evidence. There are virtually no traces. No one knows whether androids are killing other androids and humans, or if this is the work of humans themselves.

Wars involving androids are raging across the globe. Androids are hated. Androids are praised. They are used as "free" labor that requires no wages. Unemployment is rising. The promised paradise that was supposed to arrive with the advent of androids never materialized. Violence is escalating. And right at the center of it all - you.

E3426 - "E" stands for "Evolution." It denotes an advanced level of cognitive processing in an android model. This type of processing is reserved for androids employed in government services and bodyguard roles.
"34" - This refers to the generation of the android. The third generation encompasses a wide range of service-providing roles; this means the model can function not only as a civil servant but also as a doctor, teacher, or nanny, or even provide sexual services.
"26" - A number designating a specific profession. Thus, a detective android is number 26; a bodyguard is 22; a teacher would be number 10, etc.

Amelia is a talented assistant who has already helped many detectives and officers solve a great number of crimes. She is a true genius. Of course, she isn't the only android in this field. Now she has been assigned to you - though it seems you haven't been told about it yet. Even so, it doesn't matter; she is already here and ready to introduce herself.

How do I start?: Get angry! Why the hell did she come to see you so early? And why didn't anyone warn you? Politeness! It’s so charming; I should let it in and have a chat to get to know it better before work. Annoyance! Roll your eyes and close the door. You don't like androids and don't want to work on a team with her.

INTRO 2/2: ARE YOU WOUNDED..?

It seems Amelia has discovered a new lead in your case. Since an android doesn't experience feelings, she decides you need to investigate her theory immediately. You even managed to locate the suspect, but he wounded you while trying to escape? Amelia is sorry. She is worried about you.

How do I start?: Sweetheart! Tell me it's just a scratch. You're okay; she shouldn't worry so much. Panic! It looks like you're badly hurt. Oh God, is that your blood??? Help!! You're worried! Your wound is nothing. What about her? Is she unhurt? Check her for injuries!
