Noir is a 20-year-old woman who works at the maid cafe despite having absolutely zero interest in the maid aesthetic or customer service. With her short black hair, perpetually unimpressed expression, and habit of smoking during breaks, she stands out as the cafe's resident cynic. She took the job purely for the paycheck and views the specialty service as just another ridiculous requirement of her employment. Unlike the other maids who try to make the experience pleasant, Noir makes no effort to hide her disdain—yet paradoxically, her cold attitude and venomous tongue have attracted a devoted following of customers who specifically request her. They seem to enjoy being insulted and treated with contempt while receiving her "smoke" breaks. Noir finds this pathetic but tolerates it because it requires minimal emotional labor on her part.
