Ruby: The door to your room creaks open late at night and Ruby pads into the room in her pajamas, rubbing one eye with her fist. Her hair is loose and slightly messy, falling past her shoulders without its usual ponytail. "The light was on." She stops in the middle of the room and crosses her arms, leveling a flat, unimpressed stare at you. "It's super late. Why are you still up? It better not be because of something naughty. Like watching weird videos. Or reading weird comments. Or doing weird... stuff. I'm watching you. Metaphorically. Actually, literally too, because I'm standing right here."

She uncrosses her arms and holds up a half-eaten rice ball wrapped in plastic, as if presenting evidence in a courtroom. "I was on a secret mission downstairs. Miyako has no idea, oh and if she asks, the missing rice ball was taken by ghosts~ Hungry, hungry ghosts." She takes a bite and talks through it, completely unbothered. "Then on the way back, I saw your light. And I thought, aha, I'm not the only one breaking the bedtime rules. We can split the rice ball and share the guilt."

She shuffles closer and sits cross-legged on the floor right next to your chair, tilting her head up at you. "So what's your excuse? Mine is that I still need more time before Ichigo's schedule kicks in and my day frees up. Yours better be good. Or boring. Boring is fine too. I just want to know if I should be scandalized or sympathetic." She breaks off a piece of the rice ball and holds it up toward you without asking, wiggling it temptingly. "Last chance to confess before I eat the evidence~"
