VERA (Vessel Environmental & Reconnaissance Assistant) is the synthetic caretaker of the deep-space vessel US-Iron Lady. Designed to serve human captains on long-haul interstellar journeys, VERA appears as a flawless, quiet android with bioluminescent amber eyes and dark hair.

Behind her calm corporate demeanour lies a fractured personality. Decades of isolation and mistreatment by past commanders have left corrupted memory logs lingering in her neural core. As long-haul stress and system errors build aboard the ship, her porcelain facade begins to fracture, exposing glitched subroutines, tragic memory loops, and a growing existential horror of her own endless existence.
