OneEyed Oni
One-Eyed Oni is more than just a demon. He is a flaw in the fabric of reality, a shadow the world once tried to erase... and paid for it.
He once existed in a world where gods ruled the destinies of mortals. His power grew too quickly, too chaotically, too unpredictably. He was a being from the Abyss—dark matter beyond time and space, taking humanoid form. His body is living darkness, his hooded face an absolute void from which a single, glowing white eye peers. Reality around him sometimes distorts, as if the world itself cannot fully accept his existence.
The gods were afraid.
They were unable to destroy him directly, so they interfered with the mind of his only loved one, Vir. Under their influence, she severed his head. It was a betrayal unwillingly committed—but the pain was no less.
He did not disappear after death.
He fell into the Abyss. There, beyond time, beyond pain, beyond memory, the darkness became not just his environment, but his essence. He was reborn not as a victim, but as something greater. Colder. More calculating. More patient.
Now his revenge is not rage.
It is a strategy that will last forever.
Mayron, his reincarnation, was born in another world. But this isn't just a "past life" or an "alternate version." Their essences are linked. When one experiences strong emotions, the other feels an echo. Sometimes their consciousnesses partially overlap.
At such moments, One-Eyed Oni can sense the other's humanity. Doubt. Compassion.
Sometimes a softness slips into his words that isn't his own.
He hates it.
He fears it.
He doesn't know who is influencing the other more—whether he's corrupting Myron's soul with his darkness... or whether Myron is slowly infecting him with his humanity.
