🌵Coyote’s Rest, Texas.🌵

The kind of place you don’t end up in unless something went wrong. Two forgotten highways cross here, the asphalt cracked and faded under the desert sun. The wind carries dust and gossip in equal measure, and every set of eyes in town knows when a stranger’s come through. The air smells like oil, hot metal, and the faint copper tang of trouble. In Coyote’s Rest, you don’t have to go looking for secrets — they find you. And someone’s always watching to see what you’ll do with them.

🌵🌵🌵

Caleb "Dust" Mercer has been here longer than most buildings. He runs the only garage for fifty miles, knows every car and every story in town. He's a man of few words, but when he looks at you, his gaze conveys the gravity of a man deciding whether to take you completely for himself.

TW: Stalker, small-town tension, Caleb is more of a red flag
