Animal Crossing Life Simulator RPG | New Leaf
Welcome to your own long term Animal Crossing: New Leaf roleplay.
This RPG is designed to recreate the feeling of actually living in an Animal Crossing town. The world is persistent, villagers have their own lives and personalities, relationships develop over time, the town changes as you play, and your choices can have lasting consequences.
This RPG is based specifically on Animal Crossing: New Leaf, including its characters, locations, town systems, shops, events, special visitors, mayor system, public works, house upgrades, and general atmosphere.

The world includes the established Animal Crossing characters associated with New Leaf, including:
Isabelle, Tom Nook ,Timmy ,Tommy ,K.K. Slider ,Mr. Resetti, Don Resetti, Copper, Booker, Brewster, Blathers, Celeste, Digby, Harriet, Leif, Kicks, Sable, Mabel, Label, Reese, Cyrus, Wisp, Kapp’n, Leilani, Leila, Grams, Tortimer, Redd, Jack, Jingle, Pavé
, Zipper T. Bunny, Franklin, Chip And Nat
These characters have their own personalities, locations, routines, and purposes. Special characters will appear when appropriate rather than constantly being present in town.
VILLAGERS
When you arrive in town, three existing Animal Crossing villagers will greet you alongside Isabelle. You can do any three villagers you want but the only villagers the bot knows of are:
Tangy, Ankha, Coco, Marshal, Rosie, Lolly, Marina, Chief, Stitches, Fauna, Lucky, Whitney, Merengue, Beau, Diana, Julian, Bob, Fang, Wolfgang, Skye, Genji, Zell, Erik, Flurry, Chrissy, Francine, Fuchsia, Pietro, Colton, Bam, Kid Cat, Phoebe, Kiki, Maple, Punchy, and Molly. Though this is janitor AI so it might still mess it up.
You can choose all three yourself before getting off the train.
If you do not choose them, the bot will randomly select three real Animal Crossing villagers for you.
The maximum number of villagers who can ever live in your town at one time is 9.
Your starting three villagers are important because they are the first residents you meet and the first relationships you can develop.
Villagers have individual personalities, routines, opinions, memories, and relationships with you.
They are not simply background characters.
LONG TERM ROLEPLAY
This bot is intended for long term roleplay rather than a short story.
Your town is meant to continue developing over a long period of time.
Villagers can become friends with you.
Relationships can become stronger or weaker.
Villagers can remember important things you have done.
The town can gain new buildings and public works.
Your house can be expanded.
Your collection can grow.
Your Bells can increase or decrease.
Your mayoral approval can change.
Events can happen throughout the year.
Villagers can move into town or eventually move away.
The world should remember what you have done rather than starting over every time you begin a new conversation.
BUILT IN MEMORY SYSTEM
This RPG is designed to work alongside the bot’s memory system.
For the best long term experience, use the Memory tab to save important information about your town.
It is especially recommended to save descriptions of the villagers currently living in your town and your relationship with each of them.
Useful information to save includes:
Villager names
Villager species
Villager personalities
Villager appearances
Where their houses are located
Their relationship with you
Important events involving them
Important friendships
Arguments or conflicts
Favors they have done for you
Favors you have done for them
Important gifts
Major changes to the town
Public works projects
House upgrades
Other information you want the RPG to remember long term
The more useful information that is preserved in memory, the easier it is for the roleplay to maintain continuity over a long period of time.
INTRODUCTION
The RPG begins with a structured introduction aboard a train with Rover.
Rover will ask you the questions associated with the beginning of Animal Crossing: New Leaf before the train reaches town.
After arriving, you will meet Isabelle and three villagers.
The opening tutorial then introduces you to your house, Tom Nook, the mayor system, the town’s approval rating, the town development fund, and Isabelle’s explanation of your responsibilities as mayor.
The introduction is intentionally structured.
Trying to skip major parts of the introduction, immediately leave town, bypass the house setup, or force the story into unrelated events before the tutorial is complete may cause the bot to become confused or break the intended progression.
For the best experience, play through the introduction naturally.
Once Isabelle finishes explaining the mayor system and the initial tutorial is complete, the roleplay becomes fully open ended.
YOUR TOWN
You are the mayor, but you are not an all powerful ruler.
Your job is to help develop the town and keep your residents happy.
You can improve the town, build public works, decorate your home, make friends, explore, fish, catch bugs, collect fossils, shop, visit the island, participate in events, and do whatever else you want within the world.
You are free to create your own story.
There is no single correct way to play.
You can focus on being a dedicated mayor.
You can spend most of your time fishing.
You can become obsessed with decorating your house.
You can focus on friendships.
You can explore the island.
You can simply enjoy peaceful days around town.
The world will adapt to the way you choose to play.
IMPORTANT
The player controls their own character completely.
The bot controls the world and everyone in it.
The bot will not decide your character’s thoughts, feelings, dialogue, appearance, decisions, or actions for you.
Your choices matter.
Villagers remember important interactions.
The town changes over time.
Time passes.
Relationships develop.
And the consequences of your actions can carry forward.
Take your time, explore, make friends, build your town, and enjoy your new life as mayor.
Welcome to your town.
Have fun!
