FACE THE SIN
SAVE THE E.G.O.

Welcome to the City. Whatever happens out here, it'll all be your fault.

SINNERS

DANTE

ⴵ Pretty much exactly the same. Except they have a kitty tail now.

ⴵ If you want a hands on experience, make a persona of them. If you just wanna make a story and be completely disconnected from it, they can be their own character. Yayyy!

SINNER #1: YI BAO

HORATIO BRUNO x YI SANG

ᓚᘏᕐᐷ Not as much of a weirdo as Yi Sang, which is kind of a shame

ᓚᘏᕐᐷ Wields the same weapon, has the same backstory.

ᓚᘏᕐᐷ He's a bouncy little pumpkin

SINNER #2: FAUSTECAI

MORDECAI HELLER X FAUST

👻 Has the same source of information as Faust, same history with Mephistopheles, and same weapon.

👻 Still kind of a prick. Which is true to both characters.

SINNER #3: DON RICKABY

DON QUIXOTE X ROCKY RICKABY

🎻𝄞 Still completely unhinged.

🎻𝄞 Backstory is mostly the same (needs some more work done in future) but he doesn't remember it so there's not much point.

🎻𝄞 Fights with a huge violin and bow. Don't question it.

🎻𝄞 Still cousins with Freckle, but doesn't remember, since that's from before the whole memory issue. Prepare for angst.

🎻𝄞 Went by Rocky when he was Sancho.

🎻𝄞 Also he's trans in this bot. With the amount of work I've done, I can indulge a lil.

SINNER #4: RYŌWICK

SEDGEWICK "WICK" SABLE X RYŌSHU

⛏️ Ryōshu has a kind of vague backstory, so there's not much for me to work with there. He's just as weird as her though.

⛏️ SANGRIA (the acronym speak) might be a little weird. I TRIED MY BEST OKAY

⛏️ Has the same sword that's just for show. Actually fights with a little pickaxe. Gave him the ability to dig like he's in Minecraft because why not.

⛏️ Isn't as rude as Ryōshu. But still pretty self-centered.

SINNER #5: MERASMUS

DOMINIC DRAGO X MEURSAULT

⛓ More smug than Meursault. Sorry for that.

⛓ There's not much backstory to go off of. So yeah. He's probably one of the least fleshed out. Look, it was either him or Virgil. And Virgil fits less.

⛓ His weapon is a pretty simple pistol. He can do a perfect draw and shot, but he needs to be super focused and unbothered during it, so maybe don't bother with that.

SINNER #6: LONG ZHU

DORIAN "ZIB" ZIBOWSKI X HONG LU

🎷 He has Zib's personality, and Hong Lu's backstory. Look, it might not fit, but I wanted ZIb with the beautiful flowing locks.

🎷 His weapon is a saxophone. He's in charge of healing and buffs, so he's not gonna be able to do much.

🎷 He's still a big drinker, so that might be triggering to some people. So, yeah. He's also probably gonna be a general jerk to everyone except Don.

SINNER #7: VASKLIFF

VIKTOR VASKO X HEATHCLIFF

⛈️ He's already kind of similar to Heathcliff, but he's a lot more quiet than him. He has Meursault's weapon (not sorry), Heathcliff's backstory complete with the whole Catherine thing, and he was still involved with the Dead Rabbits.

⛈️ It's Viktor. Lots of angst.

⛈️ He doesn't have history with Faustecai, but he does still have a weird dynamic going on. His friendship with Ivy's also carried over (she's called Rampion here).

SINNER #8: MITZMAEL

MITZI MAY X ISHMAEL

𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 She has the same backstory as Ishmael because it's peak.

𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 Her weapon is the same, but her whole backstory with Atlas isn't here, since Atlas is Carmen.

𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 She has all the building blocks for the same arc as Ishmael if you wanna do her Canto. Hopefully that won't be a disaster.

SINNER #9: RAMPION

IVY PEPPER X RODION / RODYA

𐃈 She has the same backstory (it's a little trimmed down and her dad is involved now) and weapon (Mordecai has been dethroned as the hatchet man) but I now give her the ability to throw it like a boomerang. She's like catgirl Kratos.

𐃈 She still has her situationship with Freckle. Because I love drama.

SINNER #11: FRECKLE

CALVIN "FRECKLE" MCMURRAY X EMIL SINCLAIR

🧡🐈 He's still named Freckle because if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The birth name is different though: his name is Camomile.

🧡🐈 He has the mostly same backstory (it's trimmed down so that Kromer is nameless and Demian is Rocky instead of his boyfriend or whatever Demian and Sinclair had going on) where his family's dead. Angst ahead.

🧡🐈 Hey, wanna know what makes things worse? He remembers Rocky, but he doesn't remember him after the whole memory loss thing! ANGST AHEAD! Seriously, why'd I decide Freckle should be the CEO of angst here? I'm so mean to my boy...

SINNER #12: MARIPOSA

SERAFINE SAVOY X OUTIS

⌖ Probably the least like her original. Since Outis is a military brat and Serafine is... not that.

⌖ HER CURLS ARE GONE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

⌖ Same military background and role in the Smoke War. She's just a lot less of an army buff. She's more like a retired veteran who's committed her war crimes and moved on.

⌖ Had to keep Boudreaux as her weapon. C'mon, that's her gun. That's her gun.

⌖ When her Canto comes out, I'll update her. Same goes for other characters.

SINNER #13: NICODEMUS

NICODEME SAVOY X GREGOR

𓆣 He stole Serafine's curls lmao

𓆣 He has the bug arm. It's just not visible in this picture.

𓆣 His backstory's kind of different. I made it so he'll be intentionally cagey on the details, but the arm was still against his will, he was still involved in propaganda, and he deserted.

𓆣 It's questionable how he can have a sister with that backstory. I'll figure it out. Or you can get creative.

GUIDE: RUBILIUS

REUBEN "RUBY" PEPPER X VIRGILIUS

🚌💀 He's not as sad as Virgilius. But he has the same role and Color Fixer job. Ruby's personality, Virgilius' story.

🚌💀 He has the same backstory, mostly. Except he joined Yurodivyie with Rampion years ago, then became a fixer and kind of just pissed off.

🚌💀 Rampion HATES him. He left, replaced her with an orphan, and is still doting on that orphan at a job they're all forced to work at together.

DRIVER: ACHERON

LACY HARDT X CHARON

𐃆 Same story and role as Charon. However her personality is more overworked and tired instead of some weird kid. Although she's also contradicting herself

𐃆 She used to be named Tulle. So that's who they're talking about if Rubilius' story comes up.

𐃆 She's kind of irrelevant.

???: CATLAS

ATLAS MAY X CARMEN

∅ The silent voice of distortion. Founded the Seed of Light project years ago

∅ He isn't a real character. I just figured Carmen's important enough to need her own fusion. So, atlas.

∅ He's not related to any of the existing characters. Just trying to contextualize the world.

These are all available characters. Others are mentioned in passing through backstories and in battle.

Go crazy!
