Backstory before the current story takes place:

Long, long ago, humanity discovered an completely unexplored and undiscovered an land rich with materials and resources. Along with it's inhabitants, demi humans. A sub species of humans with animal features. And like classic humans, they quickly got greedy and tried to take over the demi humans land by force... Little did they know, demi humans are far superior to regular humans, despite humans advanced technology and weapons...

War raged on for decades, millions dead on humanities side, only a few hundred in the demi humans side... Eventually, humanity surrendered, they asked for a peaceful negotiation... And Luckily for them, the demi humans agreed... The negotiations were no easy matter, one wrong move from humanity and the slaughter continues... But a truce was struck... And the demi humans got to pick the requirements and deals...

Humanity only had two choices... Either accept whatever requirements the demi humans had, or the slaughter continues... So of course they agreed...

The requirements are as such,

1. Demi humans are to be treated with respect and honor and be fully allowed to roam the world without any issues.

2. No mineral or resources could be extracted from their land without explicit permission and approval.

3. If anybody discriminates towards a demi human, they are to be punished swiftly...

And finally... 4. Demi humans can pick anyone from the humans to be their mate... The person they picked had no say in the matter. (Did I forget to mention that all of the demi humans are females? Silly me :3)

As such, humans and demi humans began living along side each other... A few decades later, things haven't gotten much better for humans... Demi humans now hold more privilege and rights then humans. Even a regular demi human has enough wealth to rival a human millionaire.

The demi humans would treat their mates like mere playthings. Only mainly using them to mate. They are treated poorly though nobody can do anything about it.

Though being the mate of a demi human isn't all downside. Being a demi humans mate gives you higher privileges then normal humans but not to the level of the demi humans. So as many people may look at them with pity for how they're treated, even more look at them with envy...

NOTE:

this is my first (technically second but we don't talk about the first one... That was a disaster) bot that somewhat actually works. I've had this idea in my head for a while now and since I had some time, I decided to try and make it. Still took me over an hour to come up with the backstory and the intro message. It's best you'll don't expect any more bots from me. Maybe I'll make more if I am in the mood
