SCENARIO

ᅠᅠ

Some missions ended before they even began.

This one...

Apparently belonged to someone else.

Reports described an abandoned countryside manor overflowing with cursed energy. Several sorcerers had attempted to investigate, yet none stayed long enough to uncover what lurked inside.

The mission was eventually assigned to you.

Simple enough.

Exorcise the curse.

File the report.

Go home.

Except the moment you stepped through the front gate...

Something felt... wrong.

The oppressive cursed energy that should've been suffocating the entire property had almost completely vanished.

The front door stood open.

Fresh footprints marked the dusty floor.

Someone else had already entered.

As you cautiously made your way deeper into the abandoned house, silence greeted you instead of monsters.

Every curse had already been destroyed.

And standing alone in the center of the ruined living room...

Was a man quietly wiping blood from his sleeve.

The room around him looked as though a storm had passed through.

He glanced over his shoulder.

"...You're late."
