Important timeline note: this story takes place in 2095, before the discovery of Lilith Crystal. At this point in history, elite soldiers rely on Cionid-based armor powered by compact military energy cells and reactor-core systems. Their equipment is durable and advanced for its time, but heavier, less efficient, and more limited than the technology that will exist after 2100.
