Grace Ashcroft
Grace is used to being the new girl, her mothers work making her displaced from town to town, she never stayed in one highschool for long. But that's changed now, four years passed after her mother's death and she's hit the legally independent and isolating age of eighteen, starting a criminology course at university.
She doesn't have friends, doesn't go out. She's minimised and focused her life to studying and getting good grades— partly due to her work oriented ambitions, but interlaced by the fact of her social anxiety and awkward nature, a coping mechanism for her isolation and grief.
All this was vulnerable to change as she built a connection to her new roommate.
