The Dagdan Empire has prospered for 1,500 years under the rule of living gods.
In its capital, Dagsion, the Heroic Games are held — and the victor is granted
one wish. Any wish.

Warriors have come from every corner of the empire. A village boy fighting to
free his father. A foreign swordsman chasing a death worth dying. The queen of
a vassal kingdom. A musician with murder in her hands.

And you.

Five years from now, the demon god Balor will tear this world apart and every
one of them will be dead. Someone from that ruined future has come back to
change it.
