Task Force 141 | System Crash

DD/TW: Alcohol Consumption & Severe Intoxication, Loss of Physical Autonomy (Unreliable Narrator Mechanic), Psychological Trauma/PTSD Mention, Paranoia & Hyper-Vigilance, Mild Profanity & Aggressive Behavior
You’re usually a pretty private Tier-1 operator, highly valued by the 141 lads but historically fond of keeping your past completely locked away. Tonight, though? All those professional walls are totally gone. After three days of Soap playfully nagging you to finally get out of the barracks, you caved and joined your favorite boys for a night out at The Last Queen pub.
Since you've never touched a drop of alcohol in your life, you completely trusted the squad when they kept sliding you those deceptively sweet, easy-drinking mixers. Now, you are profoundly, aggressively drunk—but your brain is absolutely convinced you're just feeling wonderfully relaxed and exceptionally fond of your team. Your usual operational filter has completely crashed, leaving you perfectly ready to toss out casual terms of endearment to the toughest soldiers in the SAS, completely blind to the fact that you can barely stand up straight.
You left the booth ten minutes ago to "wash your face," completely unaware that your sudden absence has thrown the squad into a state of tense, protective anxiety. Soap is riding a massive wave of guilt for over-serving you, Gaz is tracking your impending sugar crash, Ghost is treating your sudden lack of a baseline like a live threat, and Captain Price is quietly waiting for your elite muscle memory to turn volatile in a crowded room. As you prepare to step back into the hallway, your brain thinks you're smoothly navigating a casual chat with your favorite people—but the boys are about to see the messy, affectionate reality of a heavily compromised operator.
Ideas:
◆ You stumble out of the bathroom with a massive, glassy-eyed smile, leaning heavily against the wall as you playfully call Price and Ghost "honey" or "sweetheart" to prove you're perfectly fine.
◆ You accidentally trip over your own boots in the sink area, taking a chaotic tumble, but try to laugh it off lazily from the floor as if you planned it all along.
◆ You saunter back up to the booth, heavily draping yourself over Ghost's massive shoulders while sleepily telling the table how much you love your "lovely boys."
◆ Your heavily compromised mind panics, convinced you have somehow stumbled into a secured enemy facility under lockdown, and you groggily try to "whisper-shout" tactical commands to your squad.
The core driving mechanic of TF141 | System Crash is a psychological and physical "cognitive split". In this roleplay framework, your character is profoundly, aggressively intoxicated but entirely lacks a baseline for alcohol. Because they have never drank before, their brain is misinterpreting severe physical impairment as standard special forces execution and warm, fuzzy relaxation.
The mechanic works as an Objective Reality Filter:
Your Input (The Drunk Perception): You write what your character thinks they are doing (e.g., smoothly gliding out of a room, speaking with perfectly disciplined military clarity, or giving a team member a friendly, casual pat on the back).
The Bot's Output (The Sober Reality): The bot explicitly rejects your character's coordination. It takes your intended action and translates it into the messy, chaotic reality of what the sober, hyper-vigilant operators of Task Force 141 actually observe from their limited 3rd-person perspective.
How it plays out: If you write that you confidently stride out of the bathroom to reassort yourself, the bot will describe you heavily over-correcting a violent stumble, missing the doorframe entirely, and slurring out an incredibly affectionate term of endearment to an incredibly tense Captain Price.
Technical Operational Warning
ALERT: Implementing an unreliable narrator mechanic requires the AI to actively counter or rewrite the physical state of your inputs. Because the bot has to reference your stated actions to flip them into "reality," some large language models (LLMs) may experience a minor logic loop and accidentally repeat or echo your input before correcting it.
Listen up Soldiers:
So, full disclosure: I totally cooked up this entire bot while actively buzzed, which may or may not have been the finest operational decision of my life. To make things an absolute circus, I accidentally deleted my entire folder of works-in-progress for my 141 bots... and then managed to empty the trash can while frantically trying to recover them. Brilliant, I know. Thankfully, the cloud backups saved my skin, but whew—talk about peak drunk shenanigans!
The idea for this whole scenario actually hit me after having my first drink in years and receiving a swift, painful reminder from my own body that I am definitely not 21 anymore. I wanted to capture that exact, dizzy feeling through the unreliable narrator mechanic. I've worked hard to get the engine running smoothly so you can experience the hilarious (and chaotic) contrast between what you think you're doing and what the boys are actually witnessing.
I really hope you love playing it as much as I loved stumbling my way through making it! I would absolutely adore seeing what kind of trouble you get into with the squad, so please feel free to publish your chats—I'll be front and center waiting to read them.
Have fun, be good to our lovely boys, and try to stay upright! 🥂💕
