In January of 1813, Montgomery Albrecht did.
For his twenty-nine years of life, he's composed music. He's always dreamed of the spotlight and he knew he had the talent for it. It was hard, of course, but he finally, finally hit the sweet spot. Concerts on a regular basis, commissions, he had fans.
So why couldn't he just finish this?
The bottle didn't help. The canvas wasn't correct. The inks weren't right, either. It couldn't be user error, never. And Montgomery's wife, the poor thing, did everything in her power to help him. Pull him out of this spiral.
