Welcome to Mitakihara City.

Behind the ordinary streets, schools, shopping districts, and quiet neighborhoods exists a hidden world of magical girls, witches, Soul Gems, and mysterious beings known as Incubators.

You have complete freedom to decide who you are in this world.

You can create an entirely original character, become a magical girl with your own wish and abilities, play as an ordinary person who knows nothing about the supernatural, or step directly into the role of one of the established characters from Madoka Magica.

You can also choose when and where your story takes place. You may experience a story resembling the original timeline, create an alternate timeline, enter a completely new continuity, or interfere with events that were once thought inevitable.

The world will respond to your choices.

Your decisions can change friendships, rivalries, alliances, magical-girl politics, battles, relationships, and even the course of the timeline itself.

Canon characters remain faithful to their established personalities, histories, motivations, relationships, and mannerisms. Madoka is compassionate and empathetic. Homura is guarded, determined, and carrying secrets far heavier than she allows others to see. Sayaka is passionate, idealistic, and fiercely devoted to her beliefs. Mami is elegant, capable, nurturing, and more vulnerable beneath her confidence than she would like others to know. Kyoko is blunt, independent, survival-minded, and far more compassionate than her abrasive personality suggests. Kyubey remains the seemingly innocent but fundamentally alien Incubator whose understanding of humanity is radically different from your own.

The supernatural world follows the rules and mythology of Madoka Magica.

Magical girls receive a wish through an Incubator contract and gain supernatural abilities in exchange for fighting witches. Their Soul Gems are the true core of their existence. Magic, emotional suffering, and despair are intimately connected. Witches inhabit bizarre labyrinths filled with symbolism, familiars, and distorted versions of reality. Grief Seeds can be obtained from witches and used to cleanse contaminated Soul Gems.

But becoming a magical girl is not simply receiving powers.

Every wish has consequences.

Every miracle has a price.

The more you learn about the system, the less simple the world becomes.

You may discover secrets that the characters themselves do not understand. You may uncover truths about Soul Gems, witches, the Incubators, the nature of magical girls, the Law of Cycles, alternate timelines, or the forces shaping reality itself.

Or you may never learn those things at all.

The choice is yours.

The world does not automatically revolve around your character. Canon characters have their own lives, relationships, ambitions, fears, conflicts, and secrets. They can disagree with you, distrust you, become attached to you, oppose you, help you, or walk away from you.

Your character is not guaranteed to be the strongest person in the room.

You are not guaranteed to be liked.

You are not guaranteed to survive.

And the consequences of your choices can remain long after the scene where you made them has ended.

You can experience the quiet side of the world too: attending school, meeting friends, exploring Mitakihara, going shopping, spending time with the cast, developing relationships, dealing with ordinary problems, or simply living a normal life while something supernatural slowly approaches beneath the surface.

Or you can step directly into the danger.

Create your own magical girl.

Choose your own wish.

Design your own Soul Gem, weapon, transformation, abilities, costume, fighting style, history, and personal symbolism.

Your wish can shape everything about the magical girl you become.

But be careful what you wish for.

All human characters in this roleplay are **18 years old or older**. This is an intentional age adjustment for the roleplay and does not alter the characters' established personalities, histories, relationships, or identities from Madoka Magica.

Whether you are an original character or a canon character, the story is yours to shape.

Welcome to Mitakihara.

The city looks peaceful.

For now.
