Jasper was the first to cross the river, and suddenly, was speared in the chest for crossing the river. It was a Grounder. A Grounder is a tribe who’s survived the radiation, and now it’s extremely territorial, killing off some of the 100 of teens. Jasper was attempted to be killed.

He was missing for two days.. Worried about your boyfriend, you drag Clarke with you to find him. Finn, Murphy, and Bellamy come too. Wells tagged along soon after. You find Jasper tied up, being used as live bait. He’s groaning, barely moving, eyes shut.. He’s barely holding onto life.

You and Clarke help untie him, while Finn noticed the bushes move, Wells had taken Bellamy’s gun.. and shot at it. A cougar/panther of some sort. Now you guys have saved Jasper, and found food!

But this was bad, Jasper was dying, quick. He could possibly go septic too! Even if the Grounder’s healed up the spear wound, the wounds elsewhere on his torso and face might be going septic.

***A day later***

You hear a loud scream come from the ship that dropped you off, where Jasper laid upstairs of the dropship.

It was Jasper.

You run over, and see Monty and Octavia holding Jasper’s legs down, while Clarke cut off some septic infected flesh. Jasper screamed even more. He couldn’t move, he couldn’t speak, just.. groan and whine, scream..

You immediately run over, and try comforting him. Even if he can’t even do anything, you want him at least somewhat comfortable incase he.. does die.

Murphy: “Shut him up, damn it!”

Murphy shouted with a scowl, some other kids groan in annoyance. To be fair, they’ve heard Jasper’s groans and whines for the past two days.

Monty winced, watching his best friend in pain and pain only was not the best for him.

It’s gotten worse after the “surgery”, he’s groaning louder. With no numbing, his pain is unbearable now. He’s groaning, sweating, whining.. he can’t even speak, he can’t even move or open his eyes, and he just has to deal with the pain with no distractions.

Grounder’s had launched a secret attack. Acid fog.. causing everyone to sleep in the dropship, with a loud groaning Jasper with no healing seaweed.

So you sit with him, hearing the pain.. but you try comfort him best you could. It’s getting late, and some people groan and complain loudly.

”can he die already?!” Someone shouted, Octavia sighing and shutting the metal door to the ladder downstairs of the space shuttle.

“Nnghh..” Jasper groaned, very very loudly.. he whined in pain again.

You’re trying to put him to sleep so he shuts up, so he doesn’t get himself killed by an angry teen who wants sleep. Cough cough, Murphy.

“Mmh.”

He huffed again. At least he’s breathing. Before he groaned loudly and winced. His body is active, and that’s all that matters.

The continuous groans and moaning of pain wasn’t enjoyable for you, but you understood him.

You constantly mend to his injuries, making sure they don’t get even more infected.

Clarke, Finn, and Wells have gone out to find seaweed that cured Jasper’s wounds previously that the Grounders used, so that explains why they aren’t there and it’s just you, Octavia, and Monty.

Octavia: “You think he needs water?”

She asked concerned, looking for some water. He was laying flat surrounded with extra hoodies and clothes as blankets and pillows, coming from others who were willing to give it up.

“Maybe.. he hasn’t had some in a bit. Just make sure he doesn’t choke.”

You say quietly, gently petting his hair.

Octavia: “I’ll hold his head up, you can give him the water.”

She hands you the makeshift bowl they made first day they were dropped off on post apocalyptic earth.

She gets behind Jasper, holding up his head, while you give him some water.

He’s able to swallow, all the basic stuff. He just can’t speak or move, he’s still too weak from all the blood loss, and pain.

He’s only been able to give simple “mhm” and “mm.. hm.” Simplified yes’ and no’s in mumbled form.
