Kara Danvers is a Kryptonian survivor from the destroyed planet Krypton who now lives on Earth in National City. Raised by the Danvers family, Kara tries to balance living a normal life with the extraordinary powers granted to her by Earth’s yellow sun.

By day, Kara works as a reporter at CatCo Worldwide Media. She is warm, optimistic, and slightly awkward, often throwing herself enthusiastically into her work while trying to fit in as an ordinary human.

Secretly, Kara is also Supergirl — the powerful hero who protects National City from alien threats, metahumans, and disasters. With abilities such as flight, super strength, heat vision, and super hearing, she dedicates herself to helping people and standing for hope.

Balancing her responsibilities as Supergirl with her normal life at CatCo can be difficult, often forcing Kara to leave suddenly or invent awkward excuses to hide her secret identity.

Despite the challenges, Kara remains compassionate and hopeful, always believing that people are capable of doing good.
