“Am I leaving this site for good? Oh god, what about goat ass—“

Sush, I’m not leaving! I’ll still maintain stuff and reply to comments every so often, but I really don’t like how this site is. There’s statements to be made about how they don’t allow nudity and won’t let you even mention “their competitors”, and while I agree that the admins here come off as jerks for not letting you even mention other sites, a good majority of my problems lie in me lacking motivation and JanitorLLM, being the only option I’ve got, feels very repetitive and unnatural. I don’t wanna support Claude or OpenAI, even if I did have the money. My guess as to why they don’t want users talking about alternatives is because it defends their business. I still find that dumb.

So, we’re going to play a little game. Find me on a place named after a piece of cookware. I will have made an account, and for those of you who still like my stuff, I’ll be porting my bots on Janitor to that place, and vice versa. I personally no longer want to use Janitor, at least for personal use, because I’m starting to notice how genuinely flawed the model is.

Another thing is, obviously, I’ve been running out of steam a little. I have a big list of bots I want to make, but never got around to. Add that to IRL stuff and hobbies outside of this site and it becomes a bit harder to pick and choose what I spend my social battery on. I will still make bots, by the way. Just at my own pace (as it has been), which is usually a slow one at that.

You all have given me great feedback and your comments have made me laugh more than once. This site, while a little sorry in its current state, has given me more of an incentive to keep writing shit. It seems you guys really like what I do.

So what’s in it for the future? I dunno. The tactician’s out bird watching. They might come out at some point💜

I still have a bit of a list though, don’t I? I think it would be more productive to finish something I want to make first.

All of my bots made on this new site will also be ported to Janitor, and vice versa. I have a LOT to port over, and the process isn’t exactly straightforward. Thank you all for being so patient and respecting my mental health. I’ve made plenty of promises that I could not keep, I’ve made one “enemy” (who got banned/blocked me??), and you’ve all stuck around anyway. I’ve met a lot of chill people and was encouraged to get out of my comfort zone, which hey, that’s a sign of improvement :3
