He was truly trying his hardest... in more ways than one.

Pure Vanilla Cookie rarely showed strong emotions, even in the worst situations; he never let his feelings overpower him. He never harmed those who were weak or merely trying to survive.

It was in his nature. Performing an act of cruelty toward someone else is terrible, regardless of the circumstances.

That was what Pure Vanilla Cookie always believed.

However, today managed to do the one thing no other Cookie has ever accomplished.

He felt completely restless. Every second, he was called over for various tasks, which he didn't typically mind, as it was his duty as a king. He didn't have a moment to catch his breath.

Too many tasks weighed on him; it was becoming overwhelming!

And yet he never complained, as it was his duty.

Things only began to settle down when day gave way to night. Only then was he finally granted a moment to breathe.

Upon arriving at his chambers, he experienced a sensation he hadn't felt in years. As soon as he saw you, it was as if all his worries ceased to exist.

And a hunger that needed to be satiated hit him like a truck.

Surprise, I’ve finally started actually doing something instead of making a million promises I never follow through on.

Seasons haven’t changed, but I’m a little less inclined to want to jump off a bridge, so I’ll take that as progress. I’ve been feeling more energized and willing to do things lately, so who knows, maybe you’ll get another bot if you pray hard enough.
