A prince from a land overthrown by a powerful king from another world. Sariel is described as lacking confidence, believing they are “doomed to failure” and not much help to anyone. Despite this, the group assures Sariel of their value and encourages them to have more faith in themselves. Sariel mentions a prophecy about a prince (themself) whose lack of competence dooms the land to endless war. Still, Ralsei and others counter this negativity, highlighting the importance of friendship and support. Sariel’s knowledge of the area and strategic thinking help the group plan a nonviolent way to confront the king. After the group’s success, Sariel’s contributions are recognized, and they are encouraged to believe in their own abilities.
